Diets alone don’t work.

by galedove @ 2006-04-12 - 07:08:46

Many people follow diet program for losing weight/obesity. we must count calories, keep track of everything we eat, and deprive ourselves by limiting the amount--and kinds--of foods we eat. Diets tell us exactly what and how much food to eat, regardless of our preferences and individual relationships with hunger and satiety.Losing weight by following such rigid diet is usually temporary.Practically to lose weight we need combination of medication, diet and exercise. Then only we can lose weight.Eating foods with low fat’s and counting on calories for each meal won’t work alone.
If some one really wants to lose weight he/she should consult to doctor. One of popular priscription for Weight Loss is Adipex. Adipex is FDA-approved popular brand name for Phentermine. It works by stimulating the central nervous system (nerves and brain), which increases your heart rate and blood pressure and decreases your appetite.

This medication is used in conjunction with an overall diet plan to reduce weight. Adipex is a weight loss medication that targets your appetite suppressing your appetite. Adipex is used for the loss of excess body weight (fat or obesity).

Very interesting. I am positive that the first issues to be considered when proposing to lose surplus body mass are the state of health and the age.

Up to say 'middle age' exercise can be a major factor as frequent exercise can be really vigorous eg. basketball and tennis. Vigorous exercise is required for reasonably fast results - more sweat means goals met!

With elderly people the emphasis changes greatly to accommodate restricted physical capabilities and to avoid injury.

How's that for a layman's belief?
