Strangest thing that has happened to you?

Whats the strangest thing that has happened to you?

It can be anythhing from embarassment or just something that just shouldn't be there but it was. (extreame example UFO's)
Me. It was the classic. Walked through a closed screen thinking it was open. I SWEAR it was open but reality showed me it wasn't.

I remember clearly going on holiday when I was younger and as we were driving along I could remember a few miles of the road and some buildings and a hotel from some time before. Thing is, I had never been there before. So where did the memories come from?? Spooky! My parents were a bit freaked out by it.

Not sure if it's the strangest thing that's ever happened to me, but I walked through that screen/window as well. I remember my dad and sister had thoroughly cleaned it, and were outside in the garden; I decided to join them, headed towards the window (patio doors or French windows, whichever they are), jumped towards the garden - since there are a few steps from the house to the garden, and it's quite cool to jump from inside, down to the garden outside - I jumped towards the garden, and crashed into the said window. 'Twas a bit of a shock. But I escaped unscathed!

Thanks for the invite: I accept.

I was visiting a friend who lived on North Street in front of a bus stop where I was able to catch my long ride home to Spryfield (I lived outside the city at the time). However, Joey and I were shooting the breeze during my few minutes of bus waiting time in his aparment when after looking out the window he said, "your bus is coming."

I quickly grabbed my knapsack by the door, ran out of his apartment, down the hall through to the vestibule and was about to dash through what I thought to be an opened space only to find out I crashed 'smack' into a full length glass window, not an opening, and was soon headed back to Joey's apartment. When I entered he laughed and said, "my gawd, what happened to you in a couple or three seconds?"

By the look on his face I could see something was wrong; I dashed to his washroom and peering through tears into the mirror I discovered my glasses must have cut into the bridge of my nose when I had banged into the window. My lower face and clothes were now sporting a bright red gush from the streaming bloody wound.

Wow, did I feel stupid. But I soon cleaned myself up, donned a band-aid on my nose and made the next bus.
Still have a arched scar on the bridge of my nose though; but I'm fine. ;)

hi and thanks for the invitation. I've been looking for a friend in NY. or rather my sister has, because vacating is a bust.
the weirdest thing ever happened to me was i was playing tennis and so i get to collect some balls in the net behind the court and i as i run towards the net i don't see the iron thing camoflaging in the patter of the net and it hits my chest. i go down, hit my head and instantly rise so i sit there thinking what just happened and then i feel dizzy and faint. now i may have been watching flatliners, with Keifer Sutherland and Julia Roberts, too much but i'm thinking i see myself and fly on over some wheat fields and see my burial and i see my parents cry. that's all i remember and the next thing i feel this blow to my cheek but it's not pain. as i open my eyes i see the sky, sit up once again and my sister, whom i was playing tennis with, is running away from me. later on i find out she's hit me with a desperate attempt to get me conscious and then runs for help.

is this weird? well when i fainted that happened. as i recall it must be the weirdest thing ever that's happened to me that isn't as out there as me thinking i got a nudge in my shoulder i look up and the there's nobody behind me. i'm all alone, yet someone nudged me in the shoulder. sort of a ghost thing accept that i don't buy that ghosts exist.
or do they?
B)

Dunno about strange but something weird happened last year.
I was just turning into my street which is very narrow, infact its practicaly two cars wide.
For some reason i decided not to park in my road but instead park around the corner.
About 30 mins later a joy rider come speeding down my road and hit about 5 or 6 cars, one of them would have been mine as my car is a vw golf which is wider than most.

Was this just luck?, or a message from the other side.
Who knows.

I can't remember the details, it was a while ago. I got my head caught in the automatic doors of an underground train. I pulled it out, but the rubber on the side of the doors left a dirty mark each side of my head!!

Ah the screen doors. Legendary. I think you should be proud to have joined such a well established comedy tradition!

Thanks for the friend list invitation, by the way. Grrr, I cannot think of anything strange... Hmmm. In a School quiz in front of the entire school I got the question: who is the Prime Minister (Tony Blair)... I said Lionel Blair. I didn't even realise why everyone was laughing so much. Lionel Blair is a really cheesy entertainer on TV. Hmmmm lol? : )

The weirdest thing that happened to me happen downtown Calgary (where I kinda reside) I was waiting for a c-train and some lady came up to me on the platform and told me she was the human jukebox and asked if I had a quarter. I gave her the 25cents and then she asked me what song I wanted to hear. I told her there was no need for a song but she was relentless in wanting to sing so I said something by the beatles. At this time, the c-train came and while she was in the middle of singing 'yesterday' I had boarded the train. The embarassing part was when she held the door open, not letting the train move, for like 3 minutes finishing off this song that I didnt really want her to sing in the first place and everybody on the train was giving me dirty looks cuz the train wasnt moving. Yeah that was pretty weird :P I never walked into a patio door or glass door but I have walked into a stop sign before while talking to a girl that I had a crush on. Felt like crap on that one :P
