There is an acupoint on the ear, which when stimulated is supposed to help the craving for cigarettes. It is at the top of the ear just under the fold. Do this each time you want a cigarette.

I really don't know ... I still believe that quitting should be possible without replacing the cigarettes with something else. What happens to you if you run out of the replacement? Cigarettes are so easily available ... if you run out of Chantix or Nicorette or whatever, won't you turn back to cigarettes?
There are so many benefits to quitting smoking ... why not remember those and try without another drug.

Nowadays many of medicines are available through which you can leave smoking, i tried one or two products but they didn't helped me out then, one of my friend asked me to contact BeFit you can check them out.

Smoking my wife is a always after me to quit it,she is very allergic to it,sometimes i feel very disturbed that when my 5 years old boy will be a man like me will he be going to start or will hate as i use to hate i in my childhood?I don't feel like replying myself I tried many things to quit it but none of them worked.

I have used some many different types of patches as have my friends. They help, but the truth I have seen is the ones who have the will power to quit cold turkey tend to be more successful. While using a crutch helps, the ultimate choice is to go cold turkey.

Some people just get tricked with the placebo effect and Chantrix may cure them although the true cure was their determination of giving up on smoking.

That drug won't help you quite smoking because smoking is mainly a social addiction than a physical one. You need to really want to give up smoking from inside out.

I have a friend that use to say: "Quitting smoking is the easiest thing ever. I do it everyday!" I agree though with Ada! Giving up a vice asks for a lot of will, and not for medication. Why do you ask pills to do what you should do? But if you feel week, there is a solution in using Suboxone Treatment as far as I know.

As studies clearly say: smoking is a more a psychological addiction related to social behavior than a physical addiction so as an answer for your question: that will help you in a small manner but your will and some NLP sessions or going to a good therapist will help you more.

Well, there must be better, easier and healthier way to loose weight… I mean... Drugs are not that good for the body. You may get at the desired weight, but they can affect your stomach and your liver.

In quit smoking, first come willing. I had a friend that quit smoking after 25 years without using any medication... if you don't have the right will to do it, for medication you can ask an advice here: drug treatment.

I learned to smoke during a student social work placement at a job corps center. The girls there taught me because I had not grasped the intricacies of inhaling before. I have never stopped and have never wanted to; but I am concerned because I exhibit all the symptoms listed for nicotine withdrawal and don't know to what to attribute that.

I feel I could stop "cold turkey" (one wonders where that expression originated.) if I ever wanted to and was committed, because many years ago, in a second, I gave up all foods and products derived from the slaughter of animals during a personal epiphany. But I seriously doubt I will ever have a similar experience relating to smoking, unless I start slugging nonsmoker fanatics.

Sorry, but i might be in the minority here

1. I have the deepest sympathy for his family
2 I never watched one of his programmes all the way through
3 As far as I could tell, a lot of what he did seemed to be about putting himself into danger by annoying dangerous animals
4 I'm sure he'd have wished to go the way he did, quickly, and at the hands (tail) of an annoyed animal
